Theresia Szabo Wagner, 95, devoted wife of the late Nicholas Wagner, died on June 10, 2022. She was born in Etyek, Hungary to Anton and Rosa Szabo. In addition to her husband and parents she was also predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Her beloved daughters, Theresia "Terry" McGuire and Christine Tilton also predeceased her.

She is survived by her son Nicholas "Andy" Wagner and his wife Beth of Parkville, MD;  daughter Angela Mercanti and her husband Roger of Lancaster, OH, sons-in-law Patrick McGuire of Crownsville, MD and Lee Tilton of Aiken, SC; grandsons Allen and Alex Mercanti; sister Rosa Wilson of Crownsville, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.

With her parents and siblings Theresia immigrated to the United States in 1929. She grew up in Bowie, MD and later raised her own family in Arnold ,MD. She was a communicant at St John the Evangelist and for many years active in the Severna Park Elks. She spent many years enjoying her home and garden. In her later years she moved to the Oak Crest Retirement Community in Parkville MD.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 1-4pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. Interment is to follow to Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
