Theresa Fadwa Sobeck, 28, a resident of Arnold, MD, died on May 10, 2009, due to respiratory failure after a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 12, 1981 in Rabat, Morocco and was raised in Arnold, MD.
Miss Sobeck graduated from Broadneck High School and worked for Opportunity Builders Incorporated in Hanover, MD.
She attended St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. She loved people, music, movies, writing in her journal and enjoyed being with friends at work.
Survivors include her parents, George Edward Sobeck and Amina Michelle Sobeck of Arnold, MD; brother, Alexander George Sobeck of Arnold, MD; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Sobeck of New Market, MD; grandmother, Hadda Elkhal of Rabat, Morocco; and aunt, Rachida Seeley of Glen Burnie, MD.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Annapolis, MD.
