Theresa Fitzsimmons Garrott, 73 of Cape St. Claire, Maryland, passed away on November 10, 2022, surrounded by family at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Theresa was born on February 11, 1949, in Washington DC to Charles Fitzsimmons and Barbara (Watts) Fitzsimmons. She was raised in Brentwood, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in education. Theresa raised her family in Arnold, Maryland before residing in Cape St. Claire.

Theresa is survived by her three sons, Patrick, Nicholas, and Andrew, her brother Timothy, and her six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles (Mike) Garrott.

Theresa loved spending time with her family. Lovingly called "Mema" by her grandchildren, she was most happy with a house full of children playing and laughing.

A celebration of life will be held on November 27th at O'Loughlin's Restaurant, 1258 Bay Dale Dr, Arnold, MD 21012.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HEROES at https://heroes.org/about-us/
