Theresa E. DeHaven, 85, of Crofton, died of complications of cancer Nov. 16 at the home of her daughter, Phyllis Mallon, in Centreville after a yearlong illness.

Mrs. DeHaven was born Oct. 9, 1920, and reared in Baltimore. A homemaker and resident of Dundalk for 40 years, she also lived in Ocean City for 10 years and then moved to Crofton. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing cards, watching football including the Ravens and Colts and spending time with her family.

She was the widow of William T. DeHaven.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two other daughters, Stephanie Mohr of Crofton and Allison Rice of Centreville; one son, Joseph W. DeHaven of Potomac Falls, Va.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville. Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
