Theresa "Mae" Christensen, 86, passed on to her new life with the Lord on February 25, 2012.
Mae loved living on the water with her family, boating and crabbing, and traveling with her sisters. She also enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, word search books, reading and having her beloved cat Tiny by her side.
Mae spent 25 years working for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, retiring at age 73.
Mae leaves behind her children, John (Chris) Christensen III and Vicky Diegel; one sister Maude Dingels of Chicago; two grandsons, Ronnie Grahl and David Grahl; sons-in-law, Ron Grahl and Irvin Diegel; her cat Tiny and many special friends including Joan Reiff, Linda Kramer, Dottie and Gene Haddock, Marcia Burton, and many, many others.
She is preceded in death by her husband John H. Christensen, Jr. and her daughter Juanita C. Grahl.
A Memorial Service will be held at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146 on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will be on Monday March 5, 2012 at 2:30pm in the MD Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
