Theda Marie Pote Moylan, 80, a resident of Severna Park, died on October 29, 2009 at Genesis Eldercare in Severna Park.

She was born on December 17, 1928 in Bedford County, PA and raised in Holidaysburg, PA. She previously lived in residences in Baltimore, MD, Royal Oak, MD (on the Eastern Shore), and Lebanon, PA.

She attended Eastern High School and took classes at the Maryland Institute.

Ms. Moylan was employed with the Housing Authority; C& P Telephone Company; College of Notre Dame; Hooper, Keiffer, Sachs & Taylor Law Firm; and Loyola College.

She enjoyed painting, sewing, gardening, and playing bridge. Her greatest joy was being a grandparent!

She was preceded in death by her late brothers and late sister, Jacob W. Pote, Emory A. Pote, and Shirley Bagwell.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith P. Moylan-Forman and son-in-law Jonathan P. Forman of Severna Park, MD; two granddaughters, Julia C. Forman of Philadelphia, PA, and Phoebe E. Forman of Severna Park, MD; one grandson, Benjamin T. Forman of Arlington, VA; and two sisters, Donna Fonte of Baltimore, MD and Patricia A. Lange of Finksburg, MD.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, November 02, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, November 03, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maryland Food Bank, 2200 Halethorpe Farms Road, Baltimore, MD 21227-4551.
