Dr. Terry Victor Kimmel, 79, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on February 28, 2023.

He was born to his parents, Dorothy and Victor Kimmel on March 23, 1943 in Altoona, PA.  He was a graduate of the University of MD in College Park and later graduated from the University of MD Dental School in Baltimore in 1970.  He served two years as a Captain in the United States Air Force in their Dental Clinic.  After discharge, he set up his dental practice in Bowie, MD where he remained for many years before retiring.

Terry was an avid boater with his first mate, wife.  He made several boat trips over his many years of boating with several types and sizes of boats.  He had many hobbies over the years such as landscaping, sculpture by welding and travel.  He recently completed his lifelong desire to travel to Canada and the Yukon, which was very enjoyable for him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Susan Kimmel and his brother, James. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey and his brother, Dennis.

A chapel service will be held at Crownsville Veteran's Cemetery on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:45AM.  A Celebration of Life immediately following at Chartwell Golf and Country Club.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County or Hospice of the Chesapeake.  Online condolences may be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
