Suzanne Aleathea Jacobson, 85, a 47-year resident of Severna Park and formerly of Patuxent, died Aug. 15 of heart failure at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 14, 1924, in St. Mary's County where she was raised.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, walking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Jacobson.
Survivors include two sons, John Joseph Jacobson Jr. of Langhorne, Pa. and Paul Michael Jacobson of St. Augustine, Fla.; two daughters, Suzanne Aleathea Jacobson of Severna Park and Mary E. Wilson of Annapolis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
