Prior to her career in social work, Suzanne held part-time jobs while raising her children, including at Robinson's and Tray Business Systems, and was an Aerobic dance instructor.  Later in life, she became a Reiki Master and sang and performed with the Freedom Choir (her local choir). Suzanne also had the opportunity to travel with different family members out west to see the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Yosemite, San Francisco, and Santa Barbara, as well as several international trips to visit Ireland, Scotland, Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.
