Suse Isolde Hoover, 73, of Bowie MD, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2018.

Suse was born to Adolf and Rut Mueller-Welt in Stuttgart, Germany on January 24, 1945.

Raised in Germany with her sisters, Brigitte and Sybille, Suse came to the United States in 1957 where she became a citizen and went on to become a wife, mother, avid animal lover, and diehard Redskins fan. She spent her retirement years playing games on the computer, spending time with her dog Maddie, and enjoying her nightly bottle of Samuel Adams.

Suse is survived by her children: Jeannette Rogers of Stephensville, TX, Sandra Easley of Ocean City, MD, Peter Easley of Waldorf, MD and Thomas Hoover Jr and his wife, Lisa Hoover of Arnold, MD; 8 grandchildren (Kevin, Andrew, Larry, Kasey, Hailey, Jason, Travis, and Emily); 3 great grandchildren (Trenton, Logan, and Carson); her sister Brigitte Caffrey; nephew Edwin Caffrey; niece Christine Johnson and her husband Phil Johnson.

Suse was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Hoover, Sr., her sister, Sybille Hood, and many loving pets including Sonar, Cocoa, JD, Blackie, Snowie, Smokey, Misty, Max, Sasha, and Bandit.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park, Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home and the interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
