Susan L. Arnold, 71, of Glen Burnie, MD passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital of Multiple Myeloma.
Susan was born in Lansdowne, PA on March 28, 1945. She moved with her parents to Salisbury, MD at age 11 and attended Wicomico High School. She was married to Gary L. Arnold for just shy of 51 years.
Susan worked at BWMC as administrative assistant to the Chief Operating Officer.She retired in 2011 and was diagnosed in January of 2012 with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow and fought it for over four and one half years.
Susan taught Sunday School for many years, enjoyed travel, gardening, biking, taking walks and many different types of exercise and was always physically
fit. She also shared total love and enjoyment in her children and five grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her husband Gary, son Scott Arnold and wife Ann, daughter, Karen Colonell and husband Patrick, brother Arthur Klein and wife Michelle, two nieces, and five grandchildren.
Memorial service to be held at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD on September 10, 2016 with a gathering starting at 11:00 a.m. and a prayer service at 12 noon. It was Susan's wish to be cremated which will take place before the service. No viewing.
