Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, for Steven Patrick Strohminger, 28, of Glen Burnie, who died at North Arundel Hospital after being pulled unconscious from a house fire on June 1.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. Burial is private.

Born July 9, 1976, in Baltimore, Mr. Strohminger was the son of David G. and Carol A. Pyles Strohminger of Arnold. He lived in Bel Air, moved to Arnold in 1991 and graduated from Severna Park High School.

He worked as a home improvement painter and enjoyed books, crabbing and fishing on the Magothy River.

In addition to his parents, surviving are one brother, Matthew D. Strohminger, and one sister, Nancy T. Strohminger, both of Arnold; and his grandparents, Marguerite Pyles of Bel Air and George and Joan Strohminger of Baltimore and his girlfriend, Shirlene Bennett of Baltimore.
