Stanley A. Nowakowski, 88, a resident of Annapolis, died on August 8, 2015 at Riva Terrace Assisted Living in Annapolis.
He was born on April 6, 1927 in Baltimore, MD, where he was raised, and had lived in Cape St Claire since the 1960's.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947 and worked in Electrical Maintenance for Bethlehem Steel, until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Nowakowski.
He is survived by his three daughters, Patricia Nowakowski of Pasadena, Kathryn Knight of Chester, and Jacqueline Logan of Monkton; one son, Steven Nowakowski; and six grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 9:00 am at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway, in Annapolis. Interment will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
