Stanley Charles Bigler, Jr., 93, of Stevensville, Maryland, passed away on November 6, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

He was born on November 17, 1927 in Baltimore, MD. As a child, he lived in Baltimore, MD, Chester, PA, and eventually moved to Round Bay in Severna Park, MD where he spent many of his summers on the Severn River. He also lived in Ferndale, MD for many years before residing in Stevensville, MD.

Stanley was a skilled craftsman true to tradition, family and the art of woodworking. He began working for Owen Boat Company in the late 40's. After Serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked for Trumpy Yachts and later Potthast Brothers Furniture until the mid 70's. Before his retirement in 1995, he worked for the University of Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his late parents, Stanley Charles Bigler, Sr. and Ada Elizabeth Bigler.

Survivors include his sister, Ada Elizabeth Martin (Bigler) of Arnold, MD; Jeanne Alexander (Robert) of Stevensville, MD; Jennifer Kenny (Mike) of Millersville, MD; two great nephews Benjamin Alexander and Jake Kenny; and one Great niece Kaylie Alexander.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church; 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park, MD. Interment will be private.
