Shirley Moore

Shirley A. Moore, 62, resident of Millersville since 1984 and a past resident of Severna Park, died of cancer July 18 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside after an eight-year illness.

The daughter of the late Margaret Bedwell and Albert J. Schultz, Mrs. Moore was born Sept. 25, 1944, in Havre de Grace and reared in Churchville and Aberdeen, where she graduated from Aberdeen High School.

Mrs. Moore worked for the Department of the Army, and also as a receptionist and dental assistant.

Her interests included flower gardening.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Martin J. Moore, whom she married June 2, 1962; one daughter, Debra M. Greenwald of Pasadena; one son, Mark V. Moore of Baltimore; one brother, James Schultz of North East, Md.; and three granddaughters. She was the step-daughter of the late Ruth Loggins Schultz.

Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home in Severna Park.
