Shirley Mae Liverette, 83, of Annapolis died on January 6, 2014 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born in Wiley Ford, WV,on April 1, 1930 to the late Robert and Ada Green. After graduating from Ridgely High School, she moved to Washington, DC.

She was a homemaker for most of her life, and she also had worked at the Department of Agriculture. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, as well her cats, and working on crossword puzzles.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Winslow Liverette and her brother, Roger Green.

She is survived by her children, Robert L. Liverette (Carol Eason) of Stevensville, James M. Liverette of Gaithersburg, Diana Elaine Hartley of Prince Frederick, Susan Lynn Liverette of Huntingtown and William Kirk Liverette of Pasadena, her grandchildren, Christy Barrett, David Leisure, Becky Liverette, Jaimie Myer, Adam Liverette, Shaughn Liverette, Wayne Hartley, Julie Wagner, Jessica Hartley, Matt Liverette, Nicole Liverette, Samantha Liverette, and Tyler Liverette; and her great grandchildren, Lauren Byrne, Aubree Bedford, Morte Bedford V, Max Wagner, Jenna Hartley, Kelsey Hartley, Benjamin Barrett and Jackson Barrett.

Services and interment will be private at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
