Shirley Peters Hall, a longtime resident of Severna Park, passed away on January 28, 2021.

She was born to Elma (Fadum) and Arthur H. Peters on July 2, 1929 in Linthicum, MD, where she was also raised. Shirley graduated from Glen Burnie High School, then went on to receive her bachelors in business administration at the University of Maryland. It was here, where Shirley met her husband, Howard Griffith Hall, Jr. (Griff). They married on June 14, 1952.

Shirley and Griff raised their three children in Severna Park. She was a longtime member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was an active member and served as a deacon there as well. Shirley was also a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). She was a longtime member of the Board of Directors at Bello Machre and served in many volunteer positions. Shirley loved her bridge clubs and was a fierce competitor while playing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, H. Griffith Hall, Jr, of Severna Park; son, Griff Hall (Susan), of Arnold; son, David Hall, of Annapolis; son, Mark Hall of Linthicum; sister, Janet Heaphy, of Severna Park; and two grandchildren, Anicah and Sarah Hall, of Arnold.
