Shirley Elliott, 74, a 24 year resident of Pasadena, died on December 21, 2010 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

She was born on October 25, 1936 in Three Creeks, Arkansas, where she was raised. She previously lived in Annapolis and Germany, and most recently in Pasadena.

Mrs. Elliott worked as a Police Booking Officer and volunteered as a Reserve Officer for the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Shirley loved being with her children and grandchildren and loved the Christmas season.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenzie and Lydia Langley; her brother, Kenneth Langley; and sister, Nadine Owens,

She is survived by her husband, Joe Elliott of Pasadena and her children, Debbie Murray of Glen Burnie, Kathy Lewis of Three Creeks, AR, Stephanie Stapleton of Selah, Washington, Kenny Elliott of Knoxville, TN, Donald Elliott of Glen Burnie, Wendy Schumacher of Bismark, ND, Cassandra Elliott of Selah,Washington, Daniel Josiah Elliott of Pasadena, MD; eighteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and siblings, John Harvey Langley of Houston, TX, Peggy New of Three Creeks, AR, Kay New of Three Creeks, AR, Mary Beth Pate of Shreveport, LA, Jimmy Langley of Wesson, AR, Glen Langley of Magnolia, AR.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 23 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and on Monday, December 27 from 11 am-1 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 211 East Lombard Street # 260, Baltimore, MD 21202.
