Shirley A. Berkshire, 81, passed away on the 26th of February, 2016 in Punta Gorda, Fl. She was the wife of the late Joe Habel of Anglers Sporting Goods, Annapolis, MD.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Kruse and sister to Doris Schultz, Ruth Schneck and Bill Kruse. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her hospitality and generous heart.

She is survived by her five children; David Hans, Jerry Hans and wife Esther, Marybeth Spivey and husband Patrick, Joe Habel and wife Carol, Kim Brouillette and husband Tom, sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

A visitation will be held at Barranco and Sons, P.A., Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy. on Friday, the 4th of March, 2016 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A memorial will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, the 5th of March at 11:00am.
