Sherry Jones Oller of Easton MD, passed away peacefully November 12, surrounded by family, including husband Jack, sister-in-law Darlene Carpenter and lifelong friends. She is the daughter of the late Howard P. Jones and Olive (Doll) Jones (nee Parks), and sister of the late Kathy A. Jones. She was a true Annapolitan, born in downtown Annapolis on July 8, 1959. She was a graduate of Severna Park High School in 1977. Through college years, Sherry started her administrative career with the FBI and left government service for the private sector. In 1984, she began her 20-year banking career at Wells Fargo, working her way up the corporate ladder to become Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking. She remained close with several ladies (they referred to themselves as "Wells Fargo Girls") whom she continued to stay in touch with and occasionally traveled to different cities for little reunions. She also worked at a senior vice president level for M&T Bank in Maryland and Virginia before retiring in 2018.

Sherry and Jack were married in 1997. She enjoyed his family (3 children) and quickly established a close relationship with daughter Carrie and son John. The family eventually grew to 11 grandchildren, and she was affectionately and lovingly referred to as Nona. Sherry spoiled each of them whenever she could, showering them with unconditional love and support. She enjoyed spending time with all the grandchildren and took great pleasure to make their little dreams come true. Her intuitive nature picked up on their subtle hints of "needs or wants" whether it was an iPhone, trampoline, or the newest trend. Nona more recently bought two dirt bikes as a surprise gift! Her generosity to the family had no limits.

Sherry valued her life-long friendships too. She was on the reunion committee over 40 years for Severna Park Class of 77. She regularly planned outings with her besties to include lunch, brunch, dinner, or a night out at the Legion kicking up her heals to some good ole country music or rock-n-roll played by her friend Andy's band. She enjoyed going to Saratoga with Jack and friends to the horseraces and would occasionally go to the local tracks to see Jack's horses run in Maryland and Virginia.

Many special memories were made with friends at her two favorite restaurants, beginning with the original O'Loughlin's and Deep Creek Restaurant in Arnold. Sherry grew up vacationing in Ocean City with her family and her love for the ocean continued through her life. She shared that passion with the kids and grandchildren at their condo where she loved entertaining family at the beach.

Her love of animals was contagious. Taking care of her three little fur babies was a top priority in her day-to-day life. Her schedule was often dictated by the needs of her three little dogs. She also enjoyed watching birds, deer and all wildlife that passed by and listening to the sounds of nature from her back porch. She appreciated and loved the peace nature offered in all the homes they lived in. She took walks around the many miles of trails in her community and marveled at the turtles sunning themselves on the floating logs in the pond.

Sherry loved holidays! She decorated her home into little wonderlands, especially at Christmas. She not only spoiled her family with her generosity of love and gifts over the holidays but did the same for her friends. One of Sherry's holiday trademarks at Christmas was passing out little gift bags of Christmas candy, a tradition she carried on from her mother.

The Oller family is blessed to have spent so many wonderful years with Sherry and will cherish them forever. Sherry will be missed by many including lifelong friends/sisters, Denise Cox Smith, Eva Kiriazoglou and Nancy Scarborough James. Sherry is survived by her loving husband Jack Oller, 3 stepchildren, and 11 grandchildren.
