Sheldon "Chip" Snyder died 30 July at age 66 after a valiant year and a half battle with Neuro Endocrine Cancer. Chip graduated from Kenwood High School and Merganthaler Vocational Technical School. He was in the Marine Corps Reserves for 8 years, a journeyman lithographer and retired after 35 years, and he worked as a longshoreman for the past 8 years. He is a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Baltimore Boumi and Tall Cedars Bands. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Virginia Snyder, his brothers, Charles and Frank, and his sister, Edie. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Daniels) of 40 years. He loved to
travel and visit with extended family, his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.


A Visitation will be held at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home at 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146 on Tuesday August 3, from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, MD.
