Sheldon Elinoff
Sheldon I. Elinoff, 78, of Millersville died of heart failure Dec. 3 at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Mr. Elinoff was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Baltimore, to the late Joseph and Mary Elinoff. He was raised in Boston, Mass., and lived in Philadelphia, Pa., and Chicago, Ill., before moving to Millersville. He attended the School for Interior Design and graduated from the New England School of Art. Mr. Elinoff worked as an interior designer. He was also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans.
He enjoyed the ocean, golfing and dancing, and was known for spreading joy to those around him.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Elinoff.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine L. Mandelbaum Elinoff; one son, Michael Elinoff of Owings Mills; two daughters, Laurie and Alison Elinoff of Millersville; one brother, Martin Elinoff of Weston, Mass.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Temple Beth Shalom, 1461 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Arnold.
Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
