On Tuesday April 25, 2023, Shawn Marie Braszo passed away. Beloved wife of Christopher C. Braszo, Sr.; mother of Troy David Teutsch, Christopher Charles, Jr. And Brett Thomas Braszo. Daughter to the late Thomas Milton and Monica Joan Teutsch. Sister to Robert J. and David W. Teutsch, Karen M. Hudon, Diane C. Wyatt-Sweeney, and the late Thomas M. Teutsch, Jr.; Aunt of Shannon and Robert Wyatt, Hillary Sweeney, Christopher, Michael and Jamie Teutsch, the late Michelle Ferrante, Stephanie Morgan, Keith, Christine Hudon and Merrill Hudon. Great Aunt to Isabella and Gabriella Hall, Nina, Priya, Monica and Arianna and Thomas Wyatt, Peter IV, Pierce, Taylor and Lucas Thomas Snyder, Justin Russell, Dominic, Sophia Lynne, Ryan Joseph and Harper Teutsch, Olivia Amore Daisy Sansbury, Sophia and Alexandra Hudon, Brayden Vaughn, Gavin Austin Russell, Brayden Chase Macute and Dylan Morgan. Daughter In-Law to the Late Ivan and Marilyn Braszo, Sister-In-Law to Ivan Jr. and Georgeann Braszo, Raymond and Bernadette Braszo, Cari-Margaret and Lawrence Braszo, William and the late Judith Kollar. Aunt In-Law to Ivan Braszo III, Jackie Nichols, Jillian Braszo, Marlo Petersavage, Caitlin Tytke and Thomas Kollar.

Shawn worked as a Federal Employee for 40 years. She worked for the IRS, Secret Service, and the Treasury Department. Her passion was Interior Decorating. She loved animals, especially her dog BamBam, and cats Reggie and Jacque. She enjoyed traveling, being outdoors in nature, and going to the beach at Ocean City, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: PKD Foundation-Polycystic Kidney Disease and/or Covenant House.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 3rd at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146 from 2-4 for family only and from 6-8pm for family and close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 4th at 11am at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway Annapolis MD, 21409.

Her burial will be at a later date, on May 19th at 1pm at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
