Sharon Walsh, 69, of Germantown, MD passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Sharon was born in Detroit Michigan to Gerry (Pugliese) and Joseph Walsh. She was later raised in Rockville and Severna Park.

Sharon graduated from the University of Maryland. Later, she attended Grays Inn Law School in London for a year, then graduated from American University Washington College Law School.

Prior to moving to Germantown in 1985, she was a resident of Bethesda. Sharon worked for the Treasury Department in the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. She was a devoted aunt who loved spending time with her family, especially her four nieces. Sharon was also an avid animal advocate and Redskin fan.

Sharon was preceded in death by Joseph Walsh.

She is survived by her loving mother, Gerry Walsh, of Severna Park; her brother Michael Walsh (Denise), of Severna Park; her sister, Maura Arndt (Kevin), of Millersville and her four nieces Jenna, Rachel, Lauren and Katie.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 12:00 -1:00 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A memorial service will follow the gathering at the funeral home and begin at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA at aspca.org
