Sharon A. Stritehoff, 50, of Annapolis, died May 31, 2018 at home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Baltimore on April 17, 1968. Sharon attended Towson University and majored in Physical Education. She taught gymnastics to children for many years after being a gymnast herself from age 5. She was the owner of Island Gymnasts in Grasonville on the Eastern Shore.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Henry and son, William "Billy" Henry; her mother, Ellen Ward; her sisters, Kim Stritehoff and Lisa Tarantino; her nieces, Nicole Tarantino (Liam Wylie) and Megan Tarantino; her nephew, Samuel Tarantino; and great nephew, Oliver Wylie, all of Annapolis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to support the DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Your gift may be made payable to AAMC Foundation, and note on the memo line of the check "In memory of Sharon Stritehoff."
