Sarah Ann Zeller, 92, a resident of Arnold, died on March 16, 2013 at her home, due to natural causes, after a 2 week illness.

She was born on March 3, 1921 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and lived in the Shore Acres Community in Arnold for the past 63 years.

Sarah worked for 15 ½ years as a cafeteria worker and custodian for the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, until her retirement in 1984.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Ladies of the Elks (Broadneck Lodge 2608).
She enjoyed playing the slots, crocheting, sewing, and activities at the Arnold Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Zeller, Sr. who died in 1989; her brother, Charles Sindall; and her sister, Charlotte Armiger.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Maydwell of Laurel, DE and her son, John A. Zeller, Jr. of Arnold; three grandchildren and many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm and 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
