Sarah Jean Zak passed away suddenly on May 9, 2015 in Fairfax, VA. Sarah was born in Buffalo, NY on December 29, 1980 and was raised in Severna Park, MD. She attended Severna Park High School and graduated from Salisbury University in 2002 with a degree in communications and marketing. Sarah was employed as a sales representative with Questel Inc. of Washington, D.C.

She is survived by her parents, David and Jody Zak, her sister Jessica Stelter and brother-in-law Brandon Stelter, and her brother Jeffrey Zak. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sarah enjoyed fitness, music, and was a true fan of the Ravens and Orioles.  She was an animal lover who enjoyed her pet dachshund, Lucy.

She will be loved and missed by family and many friends.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
