Sandra J. Lunczynski, 78, a resident of Severna Park, passed away January 9, 2019 at home.
Mrs. Lunczynski was born February 7, 1940, in Baltimore to her late father, William Meyers of Baltimore and the late step mother, Dorothy Meyers. She was raised in Anne Arundel County, mainly Severna Park.
She graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1958.
Sandra previously worked book keeping and accounting for Polan Katz Umbrella and Heffner & Weber Companies.
She enjoyed reading, light gardening, and being with grandchildren/great grandchildren. She helped raised the many generations of offspring of the Lunczynski family.
Survivors include daughters, Angela Lunczynski of Chestertown; Pamela Douglas of Annapolis; sons, William Lunczynski of Prince Frederick; Michael Lunczynski of Severna Park; son-in-law, Mark Douglas of Annapolis; and daughter-in-law, Jeannine Lunczynski of Prince Frederick. Preceded in death by husband, Patrick Lunczynski, Sr.; daughter, Deborah Lunczynski; and son, Patrick Lunczynski, Jr.
She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Anthony Smith of Severna Park, Zachariah Sattler and Sara Andrews of Chestertown, Patrick Lunczynski, III and his wife Kayla of Pasadena, Samantha Stanley of Tennessee, Crystal Lunczynski of West Virginia, Jozeph Lunczynski of Prince Frederick, Isabella Lunczynski of Prince Frederick, Hannah Lunczynski of Prince Frederick, Christopher Douglas of Annapolis, Kristen Linderborn of Prince Frederick; and five great grandchildren, Andrea Lunczynski of West Virginia, Brock Sattler of Chestertown, Hunter Stanley of Tennessee, Porter Lunczynski of Pasadena, and Carter Bledsoe of Prince Frederick.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9:30 AM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, MD 21146, followed by interment in Stevensville Cemetery, 808 Main Street, Stevensville, MD 21666.
