Samantha Ryan Kidwell, 31, of Saint Leonard, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019.

Samantha was born on June 19, 1987 to Barbara and Steven, in Silver Spring, MD. Raised in Calvert County, MD, Sam attended Mt. Harmony Elementary, Northern Middle, Northern High, Patuxent High, and Calvert High schools.

Sam had a loving heart, and a genuine compassion for others.

Samantha enjoyed spending time with friends, and family, and especially with her beloved daughter, Alyssa. She also enjoyed camping, cars, and selfies (lots of selfies, lol).

Sam is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Wallace, her father, Steven Kidwell, her step mother, Pamela Purdham, her sister Jessica Kidwell, her grandmother, Jeane Kidwell, step grandfather Dominic Giachino, and the light of her life, her daughter Alyssa. Sam was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald Wallace, Margaret Wallace, and Marvin Kidwell, and by her step brother Robert Purdham.

Samantha will be sorely missed, and forever remembered, by all who knew her.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 12:30pm to 2pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A memorial ceremony will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel following the visitation. Interment will be private.
