Sally Pennington
Sally Evelyn Pennington, 68, a resident of Arnold for 43 years, died of complications from an infection July 23 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
Mrs. Pennington was born April 10, 1939, in Davidsonville and reared in Gambrills.
She retired from the Anne Arundel County school system, where she worked in the cafeteria for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband, Dayton W. Pennington, whom she married March 8, 1957; one son, James W. Pennington of Arnold; four sisters, Katherine Kelly of Frederick, and Linda Hurst, Patricia Bladen and Cindy Paddy, all of Gambrills; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m on Thursday at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
