Sally Margie Hermann, 70, of Lewes, DE and formerly of Annapolis, passed away suddenly on December 24, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
Sally was born on April 2, 1940 in Northfield, VT to her parents, Guy and Ellen Margie and was raised in Burlington, VT. She attended the American International College in Springfield, MA where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Education and later attended Central Connecticut University, where she earned her Master's degree in Education. Mrs. Hermann was employed as a reading specialist and an elementary school teacher for many years, retiring in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. She enjoyed reading, tennis, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Hermann is survived by her husband, Edward Hermann of Lewes, DE; her daughter, Jennifer Hermann Diez (Ryan Diez) of Severna Park; her son, Michael Edward Hermann of San Clemente, CA; as well as, her grandchildren, Parker Ryan Diez and Charlotte Katherine Diez.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29th from 6-9pm. A mass will be offered at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church in Millersville on Thursday at 2:00pm. Interment will be private.
