Ruth Werner, 84, a resident of Arnold, MD, passed away on October 19, 2010, at her daughter's home.

She was born on May 3, 1926 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised, and moved to the Anne Arundel County area for 40+ years. She lived with her daughter for the past three years in Arnold.

Ruth was an avid collector of Hummel collectibles. She adored her grandchildren, and was especially proud that Caitlyn is in her second year at the College of William and Mary and Lauren is a senior at Bucknell University.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Cotter of Arnold and Beth Werner of Crownsville; her brother, Kenneth Biebel of St. Michaels; and two grandchildren, Caitlyn Cotter and Lauren Cotter.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
