Obituary
Ruth Ann Watkins of Arnold, born December 2, 1933 to John H. and Thelma Ruth (Wollschlaeger) Cooper, died at home on September 6, 2018 at the age of 84.
She worked 27 years for Anne Arundel County Public Schools Food Services Division as a cafeteria cook until she retired in 2002.
Ruth enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, and Sunday dinners with her family.
She leaves behind four children: Scott Watkins, Lynn Morgan, Mary Jo Glover and David Watkins. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Lauren Glover, Allison Glover, Keith Morgan, William Watkins, and Ryan Watkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Louis Watkins, her parents, a brother, John H. Cooper, Jr., and a sister, Jeanette Marie Barber.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
