Ruth Marcelline Street, 81, a resident of Severna Park, died May 1, 2014 at her home.

She was born on August 7, 1932 in Cecil County Maryland to Mary Ellen and Lawrence Brandenburg. Ruth was the beloved wife of Vernon D Street for 60 years until his death in 2009.  She devoted her life to her 4 daughters, Verna Lee Prince, Janet Phelps, Pamela Webb and Marcellene Gilbert, her 9 grandchildren, and her 9 great grandchildren.   Ruth loved to be surrounded by family and enjoyed golf, summers at the beach, cooking, crocheting, and reading.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, May 4 ^th at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
