Ruth Naomi Stern passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2025.

Ruth was born on December 24, 1930 to Benjamin and Joyce Bollinger in Elkton, MD. She grew up in Elkton, and she lived in Great Mills, Lavale, Annapolis, and Severna Park throughout her life. Ruth went to the Elkton high school class of 1947. She traveled all over the world on trips to many countries. Also, all over the USA in her RV with her family. She was a member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her son, James W. Stern III and his wife Wood Ling Stern, and her two sisters Nancy Cecchini of Elkton, MD and Joan Mutschler of Oceanside, CA.
