Ruth Smigielski, 80, a long time resident of Cape St. Claire, died on March 11, 2012.
She was born on December 21, 1931 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and moved to the Cape St. Claire area in 1968.
Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, and baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Smigielski, whom she married in 1950, and her sons, William Smigielski and Joseph Smigielski.
She is survived by her daughter, Arleen Gleason (Lloyd) of Davidsonville; her son, Edgar Smigielski (Sheila) of Stevensville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Smigielski of Edgewood; four grandchildren, Lloyd, Nichole, Amber, and Lynn; and two great grandchildren, Cody and Andrew.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 11–12:00pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
