Ruth Berkofsky (nee Millstein), 91, a resident of Annapolis, MD died at her home on February 7, 2010 , due to natural causes.
She was born on January 25, 1919 in New York City, NY, where she was raised and graduated from high school. She has previously lived in Miami, FL and has lived in Annapolis, MD for the past 20 years.
Mrs. Berkofsky was a housewife, enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and she also enjoyed shopping.
Services and interment will be private.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Simon Berkofsky.
She is survived by her children, Susan Macintire of Trappe, MD and Carole McGhee of Edwardsville, IL; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
