Russell R. Dwyer, Jr., 85, a 53-year resident of Pasadena, MD and a winter resident of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away unexpectedly August 4, 2010 at the University of MD Hospital.
He was born April 8, 1925 in Baltimore, MD to the late Russell Dwyer, Sr. and Mildred Dwyer.
He owned and operated the family business of Dwyer's Plumbing & Heating from 1957-1973, retiring in 1983.
He served in the Navy during WW II as a shipfitter on the USS Saugatuck. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and a Shriner. "Pop" enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Vera Dwyer. He is survived by a son, Russell Dwyer III (Sue); a daughter, Judy Aversa (Guy) of Hedgesville, WV; four grandchildren, Cindy Beauparlant (Scott), Jeff Dwyer, Josh Aversa (Carrie), and Zach Aversa (Stefinie); and nine great grandchildren, Jade, Sage, Holleigh, Kaleigh, Peyton, Megan, Tyler, Adelina, and Carter; and a brother, Donald Dwyer, Sr.
