Russell "Rusty" George Francis Hofner, 31, of Annapolis, died September 21, 2014 after a long and well fought battle with Leukemia.
He was born November 15, 1982 in Chestertown, MD to Robert Hofner and Mary Malmberg. He graduated from Broadneck High school in 2004.
Rusty was a diehard Washington Redskins fan but enjoyed watching all sports. He loved to fish, go for walks, and play with his nieces.
Rusty attended Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church. Rusty was a very friendly person and made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Rusty is survived by his father, Robert Hofner; mother and step-father, Mary and Norwin Malmberg; sister and her spouse Christina and Adam Kiser; two nieces, Tiffany and Summer; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 5:00pm.
