Rozanne A. Williams, 90, a resident of Annapolis, passed away on June 9, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Rozanne was born to her parents Russell and Margaretta Andelfinger on March 29, 1931 in Dubuque, Iowa, where she was raised. She was a graduate of Dubuque High School, the University of Iowa where she earned her teaching degree, and the University of Cincinnati where she earned her master's degree. She was employed as a Kindergarten teacher and later served as a Docent at the Maryland State Capital.
Rozanne was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority, where she kept in touch with her sorority sisters, Chartwell Country Club, Epping Forest Community, Bridge Club and St. Martins in the Field Episcopal Church. She enjoyed traveling, golf, bridge, watching boats at the Fleet Reserve Club, Navy and NFL Football, bird watching and feeding, as well as, cooking. She loved a good cookbook!
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Jordan (Anne) of West Linn, OR, and Martin B. Jordan (Laura) of Arlington, TX; her daughters, Cassandra Hamblen (Don) of Pensacola, FL and Caroline Jordan of Annapolis, MD; as well as her grandchildren, Sean Hamblen, Steven Hamblen, John Jordan (Courtney), Diana Jordan, Emily Jordan, Kathy Jordan and Rozanne Jordan.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00AM at St. Martian in the Field Episcopal Church, 375 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Celebration of life will follow from 3-5PM at the Epping Forest Clubhouse, 354 Severn Road, Annapolis, MD, 21401. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation at https://secure.cbf.org/site/Donation
