Roy E. Reck, Jr. (Butch), 63, of Frederick, MD passed away at Frederick Memorial Hospital on February 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie J. Reck and a sister Donna. He is survived by his parents Roy and Ann Reck, his children Roy (Ricky) Reck, Jamie Reck and Tim Reck, his fiancé Deborah King, his sisters and brothers-in-law Andrea and Charlie Rhodes, Sandra and Irving Pinder and his sister Patty Allred, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Fran Ervin, Victor and Janice Ervin, Earl and Debbie Ervin and his brother Michael Ervin, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Butch loved animals and being outdoors. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm with a Service to follow at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, MD. Burial will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County, 201 Clay Drive, Queenstown, MD 21658.
