Rosemary P. Campbell, 86, of Severna Park MD (or formerly of Lebanon, PA), passed away Dec. 7 in her home.

Rosemary was born May 18, 1937, in Hazelton PA, daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Smith) Campbell. She graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, NY, in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Nursing Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1965.

She served has the head nurse, New York Hospital, Cornell Medical center, before joining the Veterans Administration, serving in nursing and management positions in Denver, CO, Sacramento, CA, Honolulu, HI, Long Beach, CA, and ultimately Lebanon, PA where she lived for 37 years. She retired from the VA at the age of 70 to spend more time with her family in Maryland. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Callie, singing in her church choir, and took up ballroom dancing with PA DanceSport.

Rosemary was preceded by her parents, and her brothers Hugh (Mary Joan) and John. She is survived by her son Kevin (Tracy), her granddaughter Emma, her brother Terrance (Sally), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10 am in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon, PA, 17046. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends making a donation to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, www.LebanonHumane.org , in honor of her love for dogs.
