Rosemary Folk Cain passed away peacefully at home on August 30. 2024 with her daughter Lee Ann by her side. Rosemary was born on February 25, 1934 to Michael Anthony Folk and Charlotte Griffith Folk and raised in Frostburg, MD.

Rosemary graduated from Frostburg State Teachers College where she met and married James Cain in 1956. Soon after, they moved to Annapolis, MD and finally settled in Arnold, MD. They were happily married for 60 years. Rosemary worked for the Athletic Department at Anne Arundel Community College for 20 years before retiring.

Rosemary enjoyed drawing, painting, interior decorating, crafts, flower arranging, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold, MD for over 50 years and was a member of the church choir and the United Methodist Women's Group.

Predeceased by her loving husband, James Cain, Rosemary is survived by her three daughters; Lee Ann Cain, Catherine Cain, and Patricia McTigue, as well as her beautiful granddaughters Cecelia Hammond (Dylan), and Evelyn McTigue; her brothers John A. Folk and James F. Folk (Cathy) and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm & 6pm to 8pm in Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home and Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11am in Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Rd, Arnold, MD 21012.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
