Rosella Marie McNerney, 90, of Annapolis, MD, died of natural causes on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Elternhaus Assisted Living in Dayton, MD.

She was born October 12, 1923 in Hills, IA. She spent many years as a homemaker before working for Prince George's County until her retirement. Mrs. McNerney enjoyed crosswords, quilting, and playing cards. She was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Washington Redskins fan for many years. She was a member of Our Ladies of St. Andrew by the Bay in Annapolis, MD.

Mrs. McNerney was preceded in death by her husband, John, three children, Gary, Janis and Colleen as well as her brothers, Ernest, Urban, Walter, Ralph, Leon, Howard and Don, and her sisters, Sylvia, Wilma, and Laura.

She is survived by her children, Donna Burton (Glen Burnie), Jean Feeley (Vail, AZ), Patty Hove (Folsom, PA), Pamela Kardosh (Arnold, MD), Jerry McNerney (Severna Park), Mary McNerney (Arnold), Michael McNerney (West Friendship), and Dawn Richards (Fredericksburg, VA).
She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00am at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
