Rosaline M. Ritterbusch (nee Kwiatkowski-Bloom), 91, a 38 year resident of Severna Park, died on January 5, 2010, of natural causes peacefully at home.
She was born on April 3, 1918 in Baltimore, Maryland, where she was raised in the Canton area. She married in 1941 and moved to Severna Park in 1971 with her husband.
She attended Canton schools, worked at her mom's florist shop, Rose Bloom Florist., worked as a beautician and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Ritterbusch enjoyed cooking German and Polish food, sewing, flower arranging, bowling, slots, and wallpapering. She did volunteer work for churches, schools, PTA and charities. She always had a "can do" attitude, loved her family, and cared for her younger brothers and sisters.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, William R. Ritterbusch, Sr. and her late daughter, Rosaline M. Britcher.
Survivors include one son, William R. Ritterbusch, Jr. of Severna Park, MD; two daughters, Diana L. Cichowicz of Elkridge, MD and Martha L. Parsons of Mount Vernon, IA; nine grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
