Rosalinde Benson, (nee' Koppe),77 passed away on October 22, 2025.

Born on October 7, 1948, in Giessen, Germany Rosalinde spent her early years in Germany, where she studied bookkeeping and began her professional career. It was in Germany that she met her husband, Terry Lee Benson, who was serving in the military at the time. After marrying, they moved to the United States. Rosalinde and Terry lived in a few different states before making their home in Columbia, Maryland, where they raised their family. During this time, Rosalinde began a career in advertising. Once in retirement Rosalinde and her husband, Terry Lee Benson opened a family business in West Virginia, where she stayed until his passing. Returning back to Maryland there after Rosalinde then focused on her children and grandchildren eventually settled in Pasadena. She remained active in the community through her work at the Mercy center. Rosalinde was a devoted, mother and grandmother and a woman of faith. She found joy in sharing her homemade creations with loved ones and her Church, often making table displays for special occasions and events.

She is survived by her son, Robert Gale Benson II and his wife Allison; her daughter Michaela Ann Benson, and her grandchildren Jesse, Faith, Madison, Morgan, and Jayce. Rosalinde was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Lee Benson. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Matts House Church, 5421 East Drive, Arbutus, MD 21227. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
