Ronald Edward Ladue died unexpectedly at Anne Arundel Medical Center Sunday morning, February 4 th . He was born in Altona, NY on 2/4/36 and raised in Dannemora, NY. After high school graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years. Upon discharge, Ron accepted a position at Electromagnetic Compatibility Analysis Center (ECAC) and settled in Annapolis, MD, with his wife Helen White Ladue, also from Dannemora, NY. They have two children, Ed Ladue and Betsy Ladue Richards.

Ron is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Donald and Gary Ladue; his sister, Linda Hayne; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest & Clara; his sister, Marie; and granddaughter, Kathryn Richards.

Ron achieved a Computer Programming Degree from AACC and transferred to the Naval Academy as a System Analyst. He retired in 1996, and enjoyed a long retirement with his beloved family. He adored his great grandchildren, Ara, Juliet and Caleb.

Ron and Helen enjoyed traveling and took several cruises. They visited over twenty countries from the Colosseum in Rome to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Among their favorites were Greece and the Greek Islands.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church, 855 Chestnut Tree Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409. There will be a reception following the service in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church.
