Ronald Edgar Davis, 56, a resident of Pasadena for 30 years, died on July 18, 2011 of a 10 ½ month illness of cancer.
He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan and was raised in both Michigan and Maryland. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School and then went on to own and operate Davis Septic and Backhoe Company. Ronald enjoyed reading, bowling, fishing and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Burroughs Davis of Rivera Beach; one daughter, Julie Lynn Davis of Rivera Beach; one stepdaughter, Kayla Henderson of Rivera Beach; his mother and stepfather Barbara and Donald Peterson of Roswell, New Mexico; two sisters, Deborah Goshell and Carol Schappert, of Pasadena, and a brother, Michael Davis, of Culpepper, VA.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm and Friday, July 22, 2011 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm, also at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in lieu flowers to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Online condolences may be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
