Ronald "Ron" D. Minnick, Jr., of Severna Park, passed away on July 6th, 2024 from Colon Cancer.

Ron was born on March 10, 1976, in Washington, DC to Ronald D. Minnick, Sr. & Elizabeth A. Fout-Minnick. He was raised in Brandywine, MD and previously lived in Gainesville, FL and Baltimore, MD before moving to Severna Park in 2009.

Ron graduated from La Plata High School in 1994 and went on to attend University of Florida. Before retirement in 2023, he was employed with Republic National Distributing Company and was the District Manager for The Estates Wine Team. Ron met his wife Christene at Morton's of Chicago in Baltimore in 2002 and they were together ever since. They married May 7, 2010.

Ron's passion in life was golf but the love for his family always came first.

He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Ronald D. Minnick, Sr., his beloved aunt, Janice "Babe" Fout-Yingling, mother in-law, Brenda Chambers and his beloved black lab, Mosley. He is survived by his wife, Christene Minnick; two stepdaughters, Jordan Fitzgerald (Sean) of Arnold, MD and Madison Graczyk of Severna Park, MD; his brother, Thomas Minnick of Martinsburg, WV; his mother, Elizabeth "Bette" Minnick of Martinsburg, WV; father-in-law, Donald Chambers (Carol) of Odenton, MD and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are considered family.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will follow at 5 pm.

Interment will be private.

*Following the memorial service, we invite you to join us in celebrating Ron's life at the Crofton Country Club, located at 1691 Crofton Pkwy #2089, Crofton, MD 21114, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Please bring your cherished memories of Ron as we gather to share and honor him. Drinks and appetizers will be provided.
