February 14, 1935 – March 7, 2018
Roger Merlan Frady of Arnold, MD went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2018 with two of his loving daughters by his side.
Roger was born on February 14, 1935 to Merle F. and Helen N. Frady in Iowa. He graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville in 1953, where he met his sweetheart, Blanche Ida Magill, and completed his degree at the University of Maryland (College Park) and then completed his education through Cornell University (Ithica, NY). The sweethearts were married on the television show "Bride and Groom" in 1954.
They lived in Greenbelt, MD, Baltimore, MD and, since 1970, in Arnold, MD. For many years, Roger worked in upper management with Giant Food Inc. The he moved on to owning and operating several Exxon service stations. Upon retirement, he kept himself busy with multiple part-time jobs.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Helen Frady and by his wife, Blanche. He is survived by their three daughters, Helen Reed and husband Bo of Sarasota, FL, Debbie Topp and husband Bob of Arnold, MD, Penny Waller and husband Jim of Stevensville, MD. The Frady grandchildren are J. Clinton Stinchcomb and his wife Karyn, David Topp and his wife Erin, J. Alex Waller, Jr. and his wife Alyson, Amy Topp Sproul and her husband Dana, Benjamin Roger Waller, Zachary Ryan Waller, and J. Tyler Reed. The Frady's great grandchildren are Noah James Waller, Liam Alan Waller, Amelia Rose Waller and Arley Estelle Stinchcomb and, there is another Baby Waller joining the family in July, 2018.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, 710 Ridgely Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401.
